Therefore, introducing global brands that provide the same to the local market is our objective and we strive to deal with brands that are organic, manufactured using modern technology, and leave a lower carbon print. We consider the well being of the people as our responsibility, achieved through sustainable approaches.

KINGSTAR formed a joint venture with Saravio Hotspring Cosmetics Japan in 2016, which is a company located in Beppu-city (Oita prefecture, Japan) and is greatly known as the richness of hot spring resources in the world. Saravio is consistently improving Research & Development (R&D) and Product Development in order to “Contribute to people’s health and beauty via Onsens.

Saravio discovered a new ingredient “Algae Extract RG92” (a new Regeneration Gateway discovered during the 92nd analysis of hot spring algae for healing).

It was later revealed that the discovered hot spring ingredient, RG92, excels not only as highly anti-inflammatory ingredient, but also has high anti-aging effects which alleviates the damage caused by "oxidation" and "glycation". In other words, RG92 promotes health and beauty (improvement of spots, wrinkles and sagging) effectively.

All Saravio products are based on the original ingredient RG92, and they consists of hair-care products that stop hair fall and promote new hair growth, called the M1 series. The Beauté series is an anti-aging product range that improves the quality of the skin while maintaining its moisture and elasticity. And finally the RG92 multi-active lotion, which provides not only relief of pain (lower back pain, joint pain and rheumatism) but also atopic dermatitis, acne and itching improvement.

Virgin Coconut Oil

Virgin coconut oil is well known for its unique fragrance, taste and smell, like that of fresh coconuts, since it is derived from fresh coconuts and is subjected to very low heat and sunlight. It is also not refined, this preserves all the natural goodness of this oil, including a high content of vitamin-E and minerals, which are otherwise almost completely robbed from ordinary coconut oil. Furthermore, virgin coconut oil is very effective as a moisturizing agent. Its antioxidant properties are far better than those of normal coconut oil.

Virgin coconut oil looks slightly different from ordinary coconut oil and this differentiation cannot be made with the naked eye. This difference is mainly due to the presence of certain colloidal and other particles and moisture within it. On the other hand, ordinary oil is refined and is mainly left with the fatty acids in it and almost nothing else. Comparatively, virgin coconut oil should be as clear as water.

Spices enhance the color, fragrance and flavor of food. In addition many of them also have many health benefits. Used in the right combination, spices can turn the simplest food into an aromatic and rich experience in the world of cooking.

Ceylon spice trade can be traced back to the 14 th century, where Ceylon maintained relations with the Greeks, Romans and Arabs and the main reason for this popularity were the authentic spices including cinnamon, cardamom, clove, pepper, nutmeg, etc.., found in this tropical island. Tropical Sri Lanka with its diverse micro climates and soil types has many spices in its midst, most of them native, which has been the cause for their lucrative spice trade throughout the ages.

Cinnamomum Verum or 'true cinnamon' is an endemic to Sri Lanka, and is found in abundance around the island. Most other cinnamon from other countries is a related species called ‘cassia’ which makes pure Ceylon cinnamon all the more distinctive and exceptional.

Cinnamon is often used to spice up chocolates, desserts, beverages and in bakery products but also for alcohol flavoring for its distinctive aroma & flavor. Cinnamon is quite prominent for its medicinal uses and has the highest popularity in the USA and Mexico. 90% of the true cinnamon traded around the world comes from Sri Lanka.
